We also advise and partner with companies in R&D&I projects that will let them incorporate or develop their own technology, allowing for heightened competitiveness.
With the capacity to develop complete products and processes, we offer services that include material validation, pilot manufacturing, pack engineering, digitalization, battery testing (including post-mortem analysis), as well as battery recycling and second-life applications.

Our expertise in battery development and energy storage solutions has led us to the creation of several NTBCs that give answers to direct market demands of a buoyant and promising sector.
CIDEcell produces customized cells and electrodes adapted to the most demanding needs of the market, with a production capacity of 10 MWh per year, cell capacities from 1 to 100 Ah and 500m2 of electrodes per day. It offers an agile and flexible service, aimed at material manufacturers, OEMs, technologists, battery manufacturers and niche applications.

OBS is a company created by MAIER for the design and manufacture of battery components, mainly BMS (Battery Management Systems) aimed at electrification of the mobility sector, as well as the storage of electricity in renewable energies. CIDETEC, MAIER’s technological partner for more than 20 years, is a shareholder of the company and is also its technological partner.

LANZO Batteries is a company created by CIDETEC for the manufacture of batteries for the aerospace sector. It was set up with the vocation of developing and manufacturing battery packs that are competitive in pricing, delivery time and classification. The added value of LANZO is to incorporate COTS (spin-in) technologies from the automotive sector for space systems.
